Child Safeguarding and Protection
PeacePlayers United States has partnered with Players Health, a US-specific vendor that leads out on compliance for the US team regarding coaches, volunteers, and staff clearance in conducting background checks specific to each state’s requirements. Players Health ensures PeacePlayers United States Safeguarding and Child Protection policy is compliant with US Athlete Safety standards and leads investigations on incidents that may occur in and outside of programming on behalf of PeacePlayers United States.
Our Child Safeguarding Officers act as liaisons between national and local sites in working with the Players Health investigative team to ensure staff and participants have safe experiences in PeacePlayer programming:
