As we begin 2023, we contemplate the remarkable year we just had – all the crucial work, the challenges, the triumphs, and the moments when we had to stop, reflect and reconnect, so we could continue to move ahead.

Just to name a few things we’ve been thankful for this year:

  • We reached the highest number of Arab and Jewish alumni leading the program since PeacePlayers ME’s inception;
  • We partnered with a record 22 communities;
  • The second year of our Rising Stars program was an absolute success, recruiting a much higher number of participants than anticipated;
  • We hosted the first in-person Friendship Games founded by Ed and Penelope Peskowitz with nearly 200 PeacePlayers youth, staff, and guests from all over the world;
  • Our All-Stars mixed teams made waves in the national league for another consecutive year and finished in top places.
  • We are so grateful for our PeacePlayers family, and for the relentless work and impact this year has brought. We look forward to what 2023 will bring, and are committed more than ever to continuing to unite and inspire the next generation of Arab and Jewish leaders and peacebuilders in the Middle East.
