The Sport and Peace Collective (SPC), formally the Sport and Peace Innovation Network, is a coalition of organizations that leverage sport as a tool for social change, empowering young people, and helping communities overcome cycles of conflict and alienation.
Through SPC, PeacePlayers will identify the latest, game-changing and innovative ideas from around the world, providing guidance and creating connections to assist organizations and individuals in reaching their full potential.
Since 2011, SPC successfully completed 30+ projects in 20 different countries and worked with over 1,000 coaches, leading to experiences and opportunities for our partners that they would not have otherwise had access to.
Today, we are moving towards more sustained and strategic partnerships that leverage not only our expertise but a wider community of Sport for Good experts.
We will intentionally and holistically train our PeacePlayers alumni, coaches and staff to deliver training and expertise within this Collective; better connecting and growing the PeacePlayers movement through our Global Initiatives.
Do you have a project that we can help you with through our network? Please reach out to us so we can discuss designing projects, developing curricula, training passionate staff, and how we can work together to pave the way for social impact through sport.

"We want our partnership with PeacePlayers to result in the sustainable development of our activities as we build self-reliance. We are grateful for the continued cooperation between both sides."
Funded by Comic Relief (UK), PeacePlayers started a partnership with the local Rwandan basketball nonprofit Ubumwe Sports Initiative (USI) in February 2018. PeacePlayers has worked hand-in-hand with USI to scale their low-cost, volunteer-led initiatives for youth basketball and peacebuilding into eight highly populated districts in Rwanda.
